Lockheed Martin Corporation aims to Upgrade Air Traffic Management System in Korea.



The latest news from Lockheed Martin Corporation is that they have planned to install the airline traffic management system in Korea. The plan to install the system is at Area Control Center in Incheon. To complete the project has partnered with LG CNS who is the prime contractor. The new system will replace the old version of SkyLine. The previous system was in operation since 2001. This management system already installed in American Airlines stock as well
LMT news also reveals that in partnership with LG CNS will start a R&D center too in Korea. 
The main function of the center will be to facilitate with software customization to the Korean customers and transfer of technology. Further Lockheed Martin will provide support in form of training to engineering staff of Korean Air Traffic center.

The air traffic and airport management technology of Lockheed Martin’s facilitates 1000s of journeys on daily basis. It will be an interesting fact to mention here that more than 60% air traffic of the world is managed by the air traffic management software of Lockheed Martin. More over around
