On 2nd of May 2014, a new Wal-Mart
Express store has been opened in Oriental, and its main aim is to serve the
community in the best way by providing low price and good quality products. The
store has been designed in such a way that it fulfills all the needs and
requirements of the local area people providing every facility such as a gas
station, pharmacy, and a shopping store that allows customers to quickly buy
daily life goods close to their house in low price and also save their money.
Its location is ‘1400 B Broad St. Extension’.
Store
Manager Tammy Barton has said that Wal-Mart is delighted in being a part of the
community and it further is looking forward to engage with the local area
schools, organizations and charities in multiple ways. The store covers an area
of nearly 1200 square foot where as the store comprises of groceries, pharmacy,
it includes astonishment of fresh products, meats and diary, general merchandise,
consumables, beauty and health aids, dry goods etc. On these additional
shopping options Mr. Barton further stated that the company is excited on
providing such additional shopping options to customers through their Express
store format.
Briefly
stating, Wal-Mart is a Multinational department store and retailer of America
having many different chains of stores in several areas of the country. It is
also known as world’s largest corporation, which makes it income in Billions of
dollars. Wal-Mart stores Inc. trades under NYSE with the stock symbol of WMT. The stock price of WMT ranges from $79.01
to $79.76. WMT’s stock graph can be
seen increasing continuously for years.
