EPA bill will reduce Caron Emissions By 30% till 2030:

The Environmental protection agency has proposed the bill related to carbon dioxide gas emissions by the power plants in US. The regulation announced will aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 30% from all the power plants by 2030 but the irony is that the proposal from EPA has an opposition from various industry groups who have the opinion that this change would be more expensive but the positive side is that scientist are favoring to this proposal as it would cut carbon pollution and will be environmental friendly. Moreover US government can save money from their health budget as most of the diseases have been generated from these emissions. In the American economy the climate and weather disasters cost is more than $100 billion in 2012 .This regulation are not expected to become final until 2015 as some potential legal arguments could delay them.
The benefit of this proposal will be for the people of US as the due to such reduction the environment will be pollution less and the US economy could lessen their health budget to a considerable amount. Moreover the Natural Resource Defense Council figures the rules that it will create more than 250,000 jobs because of infrastructure development and will also lead to Lower Energy bill over the time.
On the other side the companies have to look out for the alternative energy such as hydro, solar and Natural gas. The companies such as Duke Energy ( Duk), Entergy( ETR) and American Power and co. have to build the required infrastructure which would increase the cost of these companies. Therefore this proposal will directly impact these companies which are producing heavy percentage of energy from Coal
There is an Estimation reported by EPA that investment that is needed to meet the required emission limit of 30% by 2030 will cost about $8 billion a year but it will also saves 6,600 precious lives and $50 billion a year in the health care cost which is tied to air pollution
According to the representative of the Duke Energy “ it’s too early for the Duke Energy to comment to this proposal as some industry are calling this plan as an attack to the industry of coal, Moreover  there should be some energy plan for Indiana state and it would have some severe energy crises especially for Indiana.
Therefore this proposal will have some benefits as well as some cost which is needed to bear by the companies discussed above. The bill will approve in the near future and with such approval some resistance might be emerge from the Energy companies depending purely on coal.
